Consul General,
We are former Vietnamese immigrants currently residing in many parts of The
United States / Canada who represent the Republic of Vietnam Veterans and
Friends. During the “Boat People” era, the Philippine government and people provided
us refugees help with temporary housing along with basic needs before
we immigrated to a third country. Our gratitude to them will never be
forgotten.
We have been deeply touched by Hurricane Haiyan and would like to express our
sympathy to all the victims and families. Along with other
Vietnamese communities, a donation was organized to help all
those affected in this unfortunate disaster.
Please accept this small contribution as we did our best with our hearts.
